I've rounded up four of the best free budget spreadsheets to be found on the Internet. Choose from online spreadsheets or downloadable templates that can be used with Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice Calc. All can be edited to suit your budgeting needs.
Family Budget Planner Spreadsheet / Vertex 42
Vertex42 lists over a dozen free budget spreadsheets that work with Microsoft Excel, and some are compatible with OpenOffice Calc or Google Docs as well. You'll find monthly and yearly household and personal budget spreadsheets, Christmas gift budget, business budget template, a wedding budget spreadsheet and a Money Manager Spreadsheet for Kids.
For those who want to be able to track expenses against a budget, the Money Management Template
