Question: I lost my password for Microsoft Money, now what do I do?

When you try to log into Passport to use Microsoft Money, you are told the password is incorrect. Before you become convinced that your password is lost, check the MSN Money Network to see if maintenance is being performed resulting in false incorrect password messages.

Answer: Microsoft's formal policy regarding lost Microsoft Money passwords says they cannot assist the user. Other financial software developers may follow the same practice due to legalities.
