TechSoup: Discount Software for Nonprofits

Monday June 16, 2008
Since 1987, TechSoup has been helping nonprofits find discounted and donated technology services and products, including accounting software, at a deep discount.

Nonprofit organizations have to register with TechSoup before they can buy discounted software. The accounting software that is currently available are multiple versions of QuickBooks and Quicken (most nonprofits need QuickBooks) and MYOB BusinessBasics and FirstEdge. Discounted software availability varies and it looks like other accounting software licenses could be added should a donation come in.

Thanks to Lahle Wolfe of About.com Women in Business for the tip on finding discounted accounting software along with other types of software for nonprofits using TechSoup Stock.

I am searching for a social services software program to record how our nonprofit administers funds to families for emergency financial assistance. Any ideas are welcomed.
