What is Quicken missing?
Support - it is impossible to get any help that is any good. You can get a voice to answer but that is as far as the help goes.
Did you need to contact Quicken for help?
I contacted them several times about a problem. I set up a loan payment had an error in the instructions and was then wrong. I found it impossible to edit it. I called several times and talked to several people. None of them could even understand the problem. It has never been resolved.
My Review
The program has lots of features. However they are not well described on what they are and how to use them, especially on tricky issues or doing any thing out of the ordinary. The program is not very customizable. It has a poorly designed interface that displays useless information, and cannot be customized to display what is needed. The bank charges a ton to use it. However if you want to reconcile your bank statements, track investments, keep the information off line it seems to be the only program available. The company is such a big gorilla they have squashed the competition and now we are stuck with something painful to use. In addition they regularly stop the program from operating completely and you are forced to pay for it again (they call it an upgrade).
