Easy to use and very convenient

Some bills are paid by bank with check, which takes as long to clear as if I mailed the check myself. Have to take that into account when setting up payments.

Excellent - very responsive, just as you would expect from a "home town" local bank
My Review
Have used this service for several years, and have had excellent results. Once the vendors are set up, it is easy to use and much less costly than 44 cents for a stamp! I would certainly recommend this bank to others. I pay all bills that I can using the electronic banking service at this bank.
Only one glitch - our mortgage company claimed to NOT have received our payment one month, even though it was deducted from our bank account as always (set up as a monthly payment). Mortgage company claimed that bank never sent payment or sent to wrong account. Bank was very responsive and sent all information to mortgage company immediately proving payment was made. Took mortgage company 3 months to straighten out, and all the time they had collection agencies calling us. Horrible experience with mortgage company, but bank could not have been more helpful.
Moral of story is that just because an electronic payment has been deducted from your checking account does not necessarily mean that the vendor has received it and credited it to the proper account. But, don't let that scare you off from electronic bill pay. If I had snail-mailed the mortgage payment and it was posted to the wrong account, I would have had to wait until the check was returned to the bank before I could dispute the error. Having the bank send the needed information the very day the mortgage company notified us saved us at least 2 weeks of time.
