Click on Help in TurboTax Online to bring up the searchable TurboTax Support site. The site is comprehensive yet easy to navigate by choosing from selections defined by the task you have a question about. If you do not find what you are looking for on the support site, click on Contact Us for support via chat, email or phone.Click on Help in TurboTax desktop software, then enter a question to see a list of possible answers to choose from. Choose an answer and if there is more information available on the TurboTax Support web site, a link is provided to the site. If you need to contact TurboTax Support, desktop customers click on Help, TurboTax Support, then click on Contact Us.
TurboTax Live Community
Live Community is a new tool for getting information and answers to questions about preparing income taxes and using TurboTax. Live Community is integrated with TurboTax Online, showing the most popular questions and answers that are relevant to the section of TurboTax you are working in. Enter a question to ask the community (you do not need to know whether the question is tax- or support-related) and get an instant answer if the question has been asked before. If the question has not been asked before, it goes out to the community and you get an email when the question is answered.Just who is "the community"? TurboTax Live Community is composed of full time tax professionals, TurboTax support representatives and TurboTax users who answer questions.
Although Live Community is not integrated with TurboTax desktop software, desktop customers can still access searchable Live Community Q & A topics by clicking Help, Community (Internet connection required). Only TurboTax Online customers see the on-screen Q & A features running alongside each tax topic.
