Tax Estimator Introduction

The Microsoft Money Tax Estimator tracks income and expenses to estimate how much income tax you will owe. If expense and income categories are assigned carefully to the appropriate tax line and you consistently enter transactions in Microsoft Money, the Tax Estimator can give you a head start on calculations for your tax return.

The Tax Estimator is most accurate if you track your expenses in detail, using the Advanced Account Register (business accounts are automatically tracked in the Advanced Account Register).

Note: The Tax Estimator does not support fiscal years other than the calendar year.
