Do you need to print an account register from Microsoft Money? You can customize the Account Transactions report in Microsoft Money to create a register report for one account, with a running balance. This report can be printed.
- Click on the Reports tab at the top of Microsoft Money.
- Click on Account Transactions under Income and Expense Reports
- Click on Customize and select these options:
- Rows and Columns - These settings are optional. Select Memo, Cleared status and Category if you want to see any of these in the printed register.
- Subtotal by - Select Accounts
- Running Balance
- Select Start with zero if you run a report to cover all dates.
- Select total of prior transactions if you will be printing the report for a specific date range.
- Chart - View as report
- Date - Select a preset date range, or specify dates between From and To. To use this report to compare to a printed bank statement, enter the date range the bank statement covers.
- Account - Select the account(s) you are reporting on.
If you have multiple accounts in Microsoft Money, click Clear All before selecting the account you want to report on.
- Category - Click on Select All to be sure all categories are selected.
- Payee - Click Select All
- Text - Leave blank
- Details
- Types: Choose all types
- Status: Reconciled and unreconciled
- Amount - Leave blank
- Fonts - Adjust to your preference
- Save this report to reuse the settings in the future. Click on Add to my favorite reports on the left and name the report to save it.
