Change the Way Your Quicken Register Works with Register Preferences

Some of the options mentioned in this tutorial are available for the most recent Quicken version. If your Quicken version is older, you will still see the majority of register options discussed here.

To get into Quicken Register Preferences:

1. Click on Edit, then click Preferences
2. Click on Quicken Program
3. Click on Register

You will now see the specific settings for the register preferences on the right side of the Quicken preferences window.
