Once you finish creating your Quicken budget, just close the budget creation screen by clicking on the X on the upper right and your changes will be saved.

Edit a Budget in Quicken

You will probably need to refine your budget as you discover more about using Quicken as a personal finance tool, and your budget can be edited. To edit a budget in Quicken:

1. Click on Planning at the top of Quicken, then click on Budget.

2. To edit the current budget being used, click on the Budget tab, or the Income or Expense tab. The tabs you use depends on the options chosen for the screen, as described in {LINK URL= Step 5 - Quicken Tools for Budgeting[/link].

3. To edit another budget saved in Quicken, first click on the Setup tab, select the budget to edit. Click Open, and follow the procedure above in step 2.
