Quicken only backs up attachments when you do a manual backup and not during automatic or online back ups. So, to regularly back up Quicken image attachments you will need to put a recurring reminder in your Quicken Calendar or some other convenient place.
In addition to requiring a manual backup for Quicken attachments, the backup media (CD, USB drive, etc.) must have enough space available for all Quicken data and the attachments. If there is limited space available on the back up media, Quicken will back up only the data, giving it priority over the image files used for attachments. You can get around this limitation by creating a new year file to reduce the size of your data file.
