My Belongings online home inventory captures the amount paid for an inventory item as well as the replacement cost. My Belongings comes with seventeen categories to classify your home inventory items, but you cannot create your own categories.
You can share your home inventory with people you choose, like an insurance agent or spouse by creating a guest account. Those using your guest account cannot change your inventory or access your account information.
Home Inventory Creation and Reporting
A Safe Spot My Belongings home inventory can cover unlimited locations and an unlimited number of belongings can be entered. My Belongings does a nice job tracking warranties as well.
My Belongings data can be sorted four ways (category, model, etc.) and has four standard reports: Inventory Summary, Warranty Expiration Summary, Item Detail and Valuation Report.
Working with Images
My Belongings supports up to 250 MB of images, scanned documents, PDFs and video, and an unlimited number of these files can be associated with each home inventory item.
Data Files and Back Up
My Belongings data can be exported in CSV format. The Report Package provides a way to create a home inventory CD with full navigation like a website.
Security
A Safe Spot My Belongings provides security with hosting in a secured building, data encryption during data entry phase and for data storage, and the address of inventory locations is not saved.
