Managing exchange rates in Microsoft Money is simple. Microsoft Money updates your account information and currency exchange rates with a few clicks of your mouse.

Answer: To manually update currency exchanges in Microsoft Money:

1. Click on the 'online updates' icon in the top right corner, which looks like two arrow pointing at each other in a circle.

2. Click 'Update now', found on the bottom left of the screen next to 'Done'.

3. The Update Online Information window will open. 'Update stock and fund quotes, news and exchange rates' needs to have a check mark next to it to update exchange rates in Microsoft Money.

4. Click on Update in the update window, Microsoft Money will tell you it is updating quotes and other web information. This information includes currency exchange rates which will be updated in Microsoft Money.

5. When you see Money's Update Status - Update Completed window, click on OK to complete the update. Before you see the Update Completed window, Microsoft Money may offer to tell you about other Money features. Either choose to read about these features or close that window by clicking on the red X in the upper right corner of the pop up window (not the MS Money program itself).

NOTE: Do not use the 'update quotes' option in your Microsoft Money portfolio to update currency exchange rates. The 'update quotes' option in the Money portfolio only updates investment prices.
