Moneydance Extensions offer special features in the form of small financial management tools created by advanced Moneydance users. Moneydance is open source software and provides a development kit so extensions can be written.
Click the gear icon on the upper right in Moneydance, then click Add Extensions to find extensions online and automatically install them. To use an extension, click the gear icon and select it from the list of extensions.
Moneydance extensions are audited and signed by Moneydance developers and can be downloaded without fear of virus or malware. Available extensions include: Moneydance Updater to automatically check for updates, Text File Importer, Balance Predictor, Credit Card Payoff Calculator, Investment Profit Calculator.
