Update: TurboTax vs. H&R Block At Home 2011

H&R Block Best of Both

H&R Block Best of Both combines do-it-yourself tax preparation using At Home Premium Online software with a tax professional who will review, certify and file your return. Unlimited tax advice via e-mail or phone from a tax professional is included, and the cost is $79.95.

TurboTax-Tax Resources ProReview

ProReview works from within TurboTax Deluxe or higher (desktop or online), where your tax return and your questions are submitted to TaxResources, Inc. Within two days, you will receive a report with answers to your questions. TurboTax Pro Review costs an additional $39.95 for personal federal returns (no state support offered). Up to 2 hours of assistance by phone can be added for a fee. I was unable to find prices on TaxResources' web site.

The Best Tax Review Deal

H&R Block Best of Both is the better deal in the tax-software-plus-tax-pro package. $80 covers online software for your federal return, the professional review and unlimited tax questions.
