Working with the File Name and Location with Quicken New Year Command
Enter a file name for the Year End Copy file. Don't include an extension (.QDF) since Quicken will automatically apply the correct file extension, and if you're not sure where to change the file name, see the instructions for naming a Quicken archive file.
