If you're like me, you have your Android smart phone with you all the time, so it's likely that you'll download an app or two to help with managing money. I took a look around the Google Play app store and found some good Android apps for coming up with a plan to reduce debt and then tracking savings on interest and watching the loan, credit card or other debt balance go down over time. While the Android debt reduction apps are still very useful and I encourage you to give them a try, I found that the features in these apps overall did not measure up with what I found for iOS debt reduction apps.
I looked for apps that organized all debts in one place and that offered a few debt pay off strategies along with the ability to progress with reducing debts. I found two apps that do this, and the remaining apps on this list track debt and payments and are useful for debt reduction efforts, but they lack features for coming up with a financial strategy right in the app. Here are my top 4 Android apps for reducing debt:
