One of my favorite free online personal finance and budgeting apps, Adaptu, announced yesterday that it is going away on February 20, 2013. It sounds like Adaptu wasn't succeeding as a free app, and the company was reluctant to go to a paid model at a time when online financial software that once was subscription based is switching to the freebie model.
Update 2/5/2013: Here's what you need to do next with your Adaptu account, and CalendarBudget has designed a way for you to easily import your data to that free online budgeting software service.
