Every January, many people make New Years resolutions to keep a budget, so I specifically searched for budget apps for my list of top Android apps for personal finance this month. Here's what I came up with:
My Budget Book, available in 10 languages, lets you create your own budget and rolls unspent budget balances forward to the next month. You can even customize the form used to enter transactions and export data.
You Need A Budget Android App must be used with the Windows/Mac YNAB software, and can be used to check budget balances, enter transactions and see historical transactions when you're away from your computer. Data entered on your Android device syncs with the desktop software.
HomeBudget for Android has a ton of features, like taking pictures of your receipts to attach to transactions, creating your own budget categories and subcategories, six month trend chart, rollover unspent funds to the next month and syncing data across multiple mobile devices.
Easy Envelope Budget Aid or EEBA uses envelope budgeting concepts and syncs your budget with the EEBA web app (free to $8/month). Use this Android app to compare what you've spent for the month to your budget, and to check financial account balances. If you subscribe to the web app, you'll be able to import bank statements, too.
