Online budgeting app PocketSmith uses calendars to track upcoming bills, spending and to see how your finances work out into the future. PocketSmith sort of reminds me of Google Calendar in that there's a calendar set up for each financial account's expected transactions and then all transactions in those calendars appear, color coded, in the PocketView calendar, which is where the financial forecasting happens.
PocketSmith will download transactions automatically, or you can download and import them yourself if you prefer, and you can set up savings goals to set aside funds for a future big expense. Learn more in my PocketSmith online budgeting app profile, and take advantage of the free trial to check it out for yourself.
