When it comes to Quicken personal finance software, there are two complaints I've had for years. One is the lack of a free trial and the other is that there's been no mobile app since Quicken cut Landware off from developing Pocket Quicken a few years back. There's still no free trial, but Quicken 2013 users finally get a shiny new mobile app for Android devices, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Kindle Fire.
Quicken 2013 also has a new budget module, which easily outdoes the wonky budget that comes with the previous year's version.
