The Elusive Green Sherpa

Friday November 14, 2008
I signed up for Green Sherpa's private beta weeks ago, but did not get an invite to try it out. Although I've found Green Sherpa featured in a number of articles, such as in Network World's DEMOfall08 Consumer and Enterprise Technology Preview, I find that it's still in beta so I still can't take it for a spin.

Green Sherpa sets itself apart by helping people to line up spending priorities with personal values, which is a great way to stick to a budget. Otherwise, Green Sherpa looks like it has the same personal finance tools that can be found in other online personal finance offerings like Geezeo or Mint.

I'm not sure why Green Sherpa has enjoyed so much hype being that it's still in private beta, as it has been for weeks. If you're interested in learning more, you can click around the Green Sherpa Web Site.
