QuickBooks and Quicken Community

Thursday October 2, 2008
Jeremiah on Web Strategy discussed the strategy of embedding online community features into software with Scott Wilder at Intuit. WI was very impressed with the Live Community feature when it was first implemented in QuickBooks, now also available in Quicken. Live Community is a feature that presents discussions from the Quicken or QuickBooks online community right in the software. The discussions presented pertain directly to the feature currently being used, and that's pretty nifty.

Live Community allows the user to quickly find help if they are struggling with the feature they are using, but what may be even better is that the Live Community can show users ways to use Quicken or QuickBooks that they were not aware was possible.
