About Taxes Recommends TaxAct Tax Software

Monday April 7, 2008
I have not had the chance to try TaxAct, and I usually see TaxCut and TurboTax in the first or second spot in reviews that compare tax software. But, this year William Perez at About Taxes likes TaxAct for its price, premium features and easy navigation. I like that TaxAct is providing free tax advice - not just free tech support.

It sounds like the small business features aren't as slick as what you find in TurboTax, and TaxAct runs a bit slower than TaxCut and TurboTax, TaxAct is a great deal at $19.95 for a federal and state return.
