TurboTax...Already?

I initially ignored the email I recieved a few days ago announcing that TurboTax for tax year 2007 is available. I thought the email was spam because I don't think TurboTax has been available for sale this early in years, if ever.

I took another look at that email today and decided it looked like the real deal, so contacted someone at Intuit to confirm that TurboTax is already available. I was told that TurboTax is already for sale, but TurboTax will not go out to reviewers (like me) for a couple more weeks. TurboTax has been a perennial best-seller so I don't see why Intuit would not want to encourage TurboTax reviews at the same time TurboTax hits stores. Oh well....>>shrug<<

TurboTax is available for Mac and Windows computers, and TurboTax will be offering a Freefile version again this year. More on that later as well.
