Quicken Medical Expense Manager Finally Vista Ready

Intuit announced the release of the Quicken Medical Expense Manager 2.1.2.9 update today. Quicken Medical Expense Manager users who bought new computers running Windows Vista in recent months were disappointed to find that Quicken Medical Expense Manager did not have Vista support and they needed to use a work-around to install their software.

The Quicken Medical Expense Manager 2.1.2.9 update takes care of the Vista issue by including a new installer with the update. Even if you use Windows XP or Windows 2000 with Quicken Medical Expense Manager, you need to download the update to get fixes for issues such as the Cost Calculator - Services report not showing payments from all insurers and erroneous messages when backing up to a floppy disk (do floppies still exist?).

Other than Vista support, new enhancements in the Quicken Medical Expense Manager 2.1.2.9 update include:

• Improved support for recording expenses from out-of-network providers, including tracking payment amounts that apply to insurance deductibles.
• Mouse wheel support
• NET security patch.
