Quicken Free Trials

UPDATE Part Deux - August 11, 2007: It's back again- you CAN download the free trial for Quicken 2007 Deluxe, as reported by Tracy in the comments. This is a 60 MB download, so it will take awhile. Although the download URL looks legit to me, I scanned it with my antivirus software and it came up clean. Be sure you scan this file and all files you download it as well as an added precaution.

UPDATE July 30, 2007: The free trial link for Quicken has been redirected to the Quicken product home page, with no trial link. What a bummer! If this changes and the Quicken free trial returns, I'll let you all know, but it could be down because Quicken 2008 is about to be released. I was able to get a link to a free trial download for Quicken Home & Business to work, though. Just click the link to the download page and wait a moment for the download box to pop up. I can't guarantee how long this free trial link will work, but those who get in on the download will have 60 days to try out Quicken Home & Business 2007.

Original Post - July 23, 2007: Well, sound the trumpets - Intuit is finally offering a free trial of Quicken. I think that most years, Quicken has been better than the competition and I always wondered why the absence of free trials to prove it.

I had a lot to say when I was complaining about there being no trial software for Quicken. Now all I can say is download the free trial for Quicken 2007 New User Edition, Quicken Deluxe or Quicken Home & Business.
