Buildium for Rental Property Owners and Home Owners Associations

Monday June 25, 2007
I recently was introduced to Buildium, online property management software for small to mid-sized property managers and landlords, and home owners associations. Buildium is easy to use, reasonably priced and has impressive features to let tenants have access to their account to view charges and payments, lease agreements and other documents. Tenants can also pay rent online.

Property managers not only handle their accounting transactions through Buildium, they also get a web page to advertise vacant properties and a tool for managing maintenance requests. I really liked the financial reporting, and Buildium recently added check printing for accounts payable, plus it also supports online payments.

Buildium Association Edition is scaled down to provide a tool for home owner associations to track budgets, fees and expenses, payments, and maintenance and repair records.

I won't be able to write a review of Buildium just yet, but will get one published soon. You can check out the 15-day trial of Buildium in the meantime.
