Mvelopes on PC World's Best of 2006

Mvelopes, the online personal finance application with a focus on envelope budgeting, hit PC World's 100 Best Products of the Year for 2006.

When you sign up online to use Mvelopes, the software walks you through setting up Mvelopes to download your transactions automatically from your FIs, then you drag the transactions to Mvelopes (virtual "envelopes") which take the place of categories used in other financial software. At month's end, you can see which Mvelopes have a negative balance, revealing where over-spending took place, and which Mvelopes still have funds in them.
